About This Game
Grinding Gear Games’ next-generation free-to-play action role-playing game, Path of Exile 2, allows up to six players to play cooperatively. The setting of Path of Exile 2 is Wraeclast, a sinister continent home to distinct tribes, long-forgotten mysteries, and terrifying perils. Long believed to be extinguished, a malevolent danger has reappeared on the periphery of civilization, driving people insane and contaminating the environment with corruption. Path of Exile 2 features a brand-new campaign with six acts, 100 distinct environments, 600 creatures, and 100 bosses.
Gameplay
Path of Exile 2 is a top-down action role-playing video game, just like its predecessor. With 200 support gems and 240 active skill gems, it presents a new skill system. Each of the twelve character classes will consist of three ascendancy classes. Along with supplemental items like focuses, traps, and modified scepters, new weapons including spears, crossbows, and flails will be featured. With 2000 skills, the passive skill tree will support dual specialization.
There will be a dodge roll mobility feature included. We’ll make use of spirit, a resource that’s employed to reserve things like auras. The sequel will include several additional enhancements, including permanent minions, trigger talents, enhanced game engine and graphics, and more. Players will have access to over 100 endgame maps with their boss battle and mods that allow for redesigned versions of several of Path of Exile’s previous leagues once they have finished the six-act plot.
General Improvements and Changes
- Added a shortcut that allows you to right-click on a skill in your skill bar to bring up an enhanced information display.
- Now, you can use a gamepad to compare equipped flasks.
- Chance Shards have been added to the Currency Exchange.
- When engaging with the Waypoint, an option to navigate to your Guild Hideout has been added.
- Point of Passivity Respeccing has become more affordable, particularly at higher levels. Previously, it had a rather aggressive curve that increased in price with character level; we have now flattened that curve to prevent it from growing exponentially. For instance, this should typically lead to a 40–50% reduction in the Gold Cost for respeccing between the beginning and midway of Endgame advancement.
